Grand Strand Golf Courses Are Perfect for Large Groups

Grand Strand Golf Courses Are Perfect for Large Groups

If there is anything to take from the madness of the last few years, it’s that being together is better. That is precisely the thinking behind Together Resorts. Spend quality time with your family in amenity-rich vacation rentals that sleep as many as 140 guests when all booked out together.

These accommodations are perfect for families, teams, and corporate events. Given their location in Myrtle Beach near the Grand Stand golf courses, they are also perfect for those whose ideal vacation starts with carefully preparing their clubs for travel.

Grand Strand Golf Courses

The Grand Strand golf courses are perfect for large groups because of their number, their variety, and their mix of price points. There are over 70 courses in the Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, area. An unsurprising number given the sunny, perfect golf weather experienced there year-round.

Even better, while golf trips are often for the boys (or girls), there are often those involved in a large group who do not want to play 18 to 36 holes every day of the trip. For those members of the party, Myrtle Beach is famous for its gorgeous beaches, its delicious restaurants, and a host of other attractions to keep everyone based out of Together Resorts happy for the duration of the trip.

A Fantastic Sample of Grand Strand Golf Courses

The 60 miles of Myrtle Beach coastline boast some of America’s best-looking and best-playing golf courses. There are many to choose from for golfers of all abilities and all budgets. Here is one course at each level from $-$$$$ (per mbgolf.com) that is worth checking out.

  • $ – Aberdeen Country Club – Starting with something a little different as ACC is the home to three 9-hole links-style courses that could easily be overlooking the North Sea off of the Scottish coast if not for the much more appealing weather.
  • $$ – Man O’War – Just the best name for a golf course you will ever see. The course is built around a 100-acre lake, and water comes into play on 12 of 18 holes. Better pack some extra balls for this one.
  • $$$ – Pawleys Plantation – A Jack Nicklaus-designed course set in prime South Carolina marshland where golfers play around century-old oak trees at anything from 7,000+ yard tees down to just under 5,000 yards from the forward tee boxes. A good range for large golf groups where not every player has the same pop in their driver.
  • $$$$ – The Dunes Golf & Beach Club – Large, fast greens are paired with massive bunkers on this course that is often considered to be THE bucket list Grand Strand course. It’s expensive but worth every penny.

Winter in Myrtle Beach: Warm Up the Family in South Carolina

Winter in Myrtle Beach: Warm Up the Family in South Carolina

As autumn briskly transforms into frigid winter for much of the United States, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, remains a beautiful, warm, and sunny coastal paradise. Yes, there are going to be occasional chilly beach days during the winter months, but most afternoons hover around 60 degrees. After spending months in freezing temperatures (subzero for some of you), 60 degrees and sunny is going to feel like 90. Together Resorts has family-sized vacation rentals scattered along South Carolina’s coast. We know better than anyone that winter in Myrtle Beach provides families with a warm, peaceful, uncrowded, and beautiful South Carolina getaway.

Winter in Myrtle Beach?

There are many reasons to choose a family vacation during winter in Myrtle Beach, but the low prices are undoubtedly number one. Average prices at most hotels in Myrtle Beach drop over 55 percent! While many families are embarking on winter getaways via cruise ship, you can save hundreds, if not thousands, on resort rates alone. Most beachfront attractions, especially ones geared toward families, stay open during the “off-season.” And your family won’t have to squeeze through large masses or wait over an hour for dinner because the summer crowds have come and gone until mid-March.

Things to Do in Myrtle Beach in the Winter

Just because the temperatures occasionally drop into the 50s here in Myrtle Beach doesn’t mean there isn’t a seemingly endless amount of family-friendly activities minutes away from Together Resorts. Winter in Myrtle Beach isn’t complete without visits to WonderWorks, SkyWheel, Hollywood Wax Museum, Ripley’s Aquarium, GTS Theatre, and Broadway at the Beach. You can, of course, always play 18 holes at a world-renowned golf course, search for seashells on the beach, or visit nearby Brookgreen Gardens.

Together Resorts

Together Resorts is, first and foremost, a premier destination for large groups, families, and reunions. Most Myrtle Beach hotels cannot accommodate nearly 50 people under one roof, but our massive vacation rentals were explicitly designed to host groups of all sizes. We’ve hosted groups of eight, 48, and 128, all at once. To find the unit that’s best for your family, give us a call at 1-855-585-2121. Availability occasionally varies because of sports travel teams, so remember to book a winter vacation before rates inevitably rise.

5 Reasons Golf Groups Love Together Resorts

5 Reasons Golf Groups Love Together Resorts

Myrtle Beach’s best kept secret is no longer a secret! Together Resorts beach houses are becoming the go-to option for group travel along the Grand Strand.

Golf groups, in particular, are beginning to see the benefit of booking with Together Resorts versus the traditional hotel room. Together Resorts understands the unique challenges that come with planning group travel and are prepared to help you make the most of your Myrtle Beach vacation.

Learn why so many golfers are skipping the hotel and are booking a Together Resorts beach house!

1.) Affordable Golf Accommodations

The Together Resorts properties offer a unique opportunity to save on your golf lodging. Typically, golf groups will agree on an area hotel and either book individual rooms or pair up to share a hotel room, which can be costly and time consuming.

Booking a hotel for your golf group also comes with the following potential headaches:

• Inflated prices due to seasonality
• No guarantee that rooms will be close to each other on-property
• Lack of space and privacy
• No central areas for group to mingle
• No kitchen area for group meals

… the list goes on and on.

Booking a Together Resorts beach house eliminates all of these concerns!

Rather than coordinating multiple rooms, guests can enjoy the privacy and convenience of staying together under roof, which means you only have to pay once for the entire group. The group can then split the entire cost, driving down the cost and making it much more affordable in the long run. This works especially well for large golf groups – don’t forget that our beach houses can sleep up to 35 guests!

2.) Great Amenities For Golfers

Booking a Together Resorts beach house allows guests to enjoy all of the comforts of home. Don’t fret about uncomfortable furniture or paying for “family style” amenities that you probably won’t use during your stay. Instead, invest in a trip that includes all of the space you need with upgraded amenities that you won’t find at any area hotel.

Our spacious properties comes with the following amenities that area great for golfers for no extra charge:
• Space for up to 35 guests under one roof
• Private bedrooms and bathrooms
• Large chef grade kitchen
• Luxurious media room for sports games and movies
• Pool table and arcade / game room
• Several common areas for down time
• Spacious outdoor pool deck with pools and Jacuzzis

• Much more!

5.) Fast & Easy Booking Process

Coordinating hotel plans for a large group can be a pain. Attempting to find enough rooms during peak season at one property can sometimes be impossible and there is no guarantee that the rooms will be anywhere near each other when it comes to check-in.

Together Resorts specializes in group travel and has worked to make the booking process as fast and easy as possible!
