Sweet Treats for the Whole Family in Myrtle Beach

Experience a summertime getaway like no other with the whole family in stunning coastal South Carolina. Together Resorts, chief among family reunion resorts in Myrtle Beach SC, is the premier choice for your next group outing. Before you arrive at your lavish, modern Myrtle Beach accommodation, it’s best to commit to memory these three sweet treat locales.

Chocolate & Sprinkle Cone at Kirk’s

Kids enjoying ice creamA trip to sunny Myrtle Beach isn’t complete without a stop at Kirk’s Ice Cream Parlor on 6101 North Kings Highway. Kirk’s is best known for their chocolate-covered and sprinkled ice cream cones. Fill and top your colorful cone with Myrtle Beach’s best ice cream. Choose between a wide variety of flavors, including peanut butter cup (the crowd favorite), lemon banana pudding, strawberry cheesecake, blueberry pie, wacky waves, and many more! They do love their sprinkles—you can even cover your ice cream with them. Get swept away by the nostalgic pink-colored exterior and parlor-style decor inside. The whole family can agree upon a sweet stopover at Kirk’s.

South Carolina’s Best Pralines

The word praline might not be familiar, but you’ve likely seen or tried these chocolatey, nutty chunks of heaven. An American praline is a fusion of pecan, syrup, and cream. Don’t knock it until you’ve tried it. River Street Sweets on Broadway slings the best pralines in the state, possibly the country. River Street also has mouthwatering saltwater taffy, scrumptious caramel apples, creamy fudge, and piles of gummy candies. Don’t hesitate to ask for samples—one sample of their tasty treats and you’ll be reaching for your wallet.

Chocolate-Crusted Key Lime Pie

When you’re not splashing in our outdoor pool or hosting a ground-level cookout at one of the best family reunion resorts in Myrtle Beach SC, head to Sweetgrass Bakery and Cafe for the best key lime pie in town. Sweetgrass bakes their key lime pie in a chocolate crust! They also have crispy almond brittle, soft oatmeal raisin cookies, unrivaled carrot cake, and spectacular cream cheese croissants. Are you hungry yet?

Book your next group outing at Together Resorts. We specialize in large retreats, placing us #1 among family reunion resorts in Myrtle Beach SC. Our lovely accommodations can house anywhere from 20 to 50 guests. Your next Myrtle Beach family getaway just got a whole lot sweeter!
